about

this is a remixed, remastered, and fixed version. it's much closer to my original vision for this record.

even the echo fades
even eden lasted days
but now i'm free

"posing for nobody was an album that started production when life was still somewhat normal, and was finished in quarantine. almost immediately after releasing that album i began work on a record that i deemed more 'concerned with what was going on currently.' the album was originally going to be a very anxious and angry record, asking more questions then could be answered. however, i began to reverse the message. as i wrote, more bad news would seep through the floorboards day after day. i became endlessly exhausted with having a constant drip feed of people telling me how awful things were, that there was nothing we could do, and that it was the end of all we know. i rejected all of that and found my own hope. i found solace in myself. i wanted to be a beam of light in the cavern we've been wandering in throughout this year. the record is a hopeful one. it's a personal, beautiful, and optimistic record that urges us to keep on in the worst times. it assures us that the day isn't over. that there's more to be. that we are everything we've made. that we shouldn't lose our hope. i hope that resonates with people. it's all been of immense importance to me."
